In an effort to improve customer satisfaction and enhance our company's competitiveness, our Qingxi, China (QX) manufacturing location launched a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt program back in June 2022.  Over 30 employees embraced this opportunity for growth and development and joined the program, with five of them emerging as Project Leaders and earning their certification as 1st round Green Belts. These dedicated individuals not only completed a comprehensive series of training courses but also demonstrated their exceptional leadership skills by successfully spearheading ten LSS projects, resulting in significant cost savings for our organization.

To recognize the achievements of these five Project Leaders, our QX facility organized a "Project Achievement Introduction & Green Belt Certification Ceremony" that took place on October 8th. At this event, the new Green Belts had the honor of presenting their improvement plans to our QX Management Team.

"We were very impressed by the caliber of projects that were presented and the results achieved upon implementation," said Sam Kang, Vice President, Asia Operations GM. "The Project Leaders demonstrated great pride in their achievements and in their ability to showcase their hard work to our QX leadership team."

The LSS mindset has become deeply ingrained in our Qingxi employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the entire facility. The motivation and enthusiasm displayed by participating team members have led to enhanced cooperation and synergy between different functions, driving everyone closer to achieving the site's organizational goals.

"Looking ahead, we are committed to sustaining and expanding our LSS activities with a focus on cost, efficiency, safety, and quality. We believe that there are more talented individuals at our QX facility who have the potential to become certified Green Belts. As we continue to prioritize the development of our team members and improve our company's competitiveness, we are confident that the positive impact of Lean Six Sigma will continue to spread throughout our entire organization, strengthening our culture of excellence," continued Mr. Kang.
