Our Director of Application Engineering for Americas & Europe, Ilyas Ayub, wrote an article for EDN Network (June 2017) that reviews and explains global transportation requirements and compliance regulations for lithium-ion batteries.

Class 9. Hazardous goods. UL2054. IEC62133. UNDOT 38.3. BIS. All of these terms get thrown around when talking about battery regulations. Unless you "live and breathe" lithium -ion, it is difficult to keep all of the regulations straight. This article helps to simplify the global world of battery regulations by:

- Discussing transportation requirements
- Explaining when a battery becomes a hazardous good and what that means for you
